Water Harvesting and Conservation

The stats are disheartening: 663 million people live without access to safe water. By 2025, half of the world’s population will be living in water-stressed areas. More than 50% of primary schools lack running water and even more bathrooms for students and teachers. To overcome the inadequacy of surface water, MyJal will be implementing programs  and  educate schools:

• To arrest the decline in groundwater levels.
• To enhance the availability of groundwater at a specific place and time and utilize rainwater for sustainable development.
• To increase the infiltration of rainwater in the subsoil.
•  To improve groundwater quality.
