How can you help MYJAL COVID 19 Efforts?
COVID -19 impact is global. At MyJal, though, our focus is on clean water for the schools, but we cannot keep our eyes closed to COVID-19 impact.
More than 26 million people in the U.S. have filed for unemployment benefits in the past month, as the COVID-19 pandemic closes businesses and keeps people mostly inside. According to Feeding America, even before the coronavirus outbreak, 37 million people in the U.S. struggled to find enough food to eat. Now, food banks are running low on necessities and may not provide starving infants with food. Families who previously did not require support are growing in numbers. Through your donations to MyJal, we will be providing meals to families and children in the United States and India to help feed struggling communities.
How can you help?
MyJal is donating proceeds to UNICEF to help our local community and has partnered with the Elixir Foundation in India to provide meals to struggling families.MyJal will be handling the collection of the donations before distributing 100% of all donations between the groups.
