Collection of Personal Data
MyJal collects personal data to operate effectively and to comply with government regulations (e.g., employment, tax, insurance). MyJal collects and maintains Personal data from its current and former employees, from individuals it may potentially employ or place for permanent or temporary employment with MyJal customers, from current and former contingent workers (including temps and other non-employees) of MyJal and at times, it may collect or be exposed to personal data from its customers or vendors. Through certain of the MyJal Web sites, MyJal collects personal data that is voluntarily provided by users when a user signs up for an MyJal job board account or other MyJal Web site that allows for users to set up an account or otherwise submit information for the purpose of searching for temporary or permanent employment opportunities, submits his or her resume for inclusion in an MyJal database or responds to a specific listed employment position. The information MyJal collects will be used only as described in this Privacy Statement and/or in the way we specify at the time of collection. Sharing Your Personal Data
MyJal may disclose your personal data to any member of the MyJal of companies. This includes our subsidiaries and our ultimate holding company. As a global company, MyJal operates a number of Web sites around the world. Any data and information that you volunteer or that is otherwise collected on one of our sites in any one country may be sent electronically to a server for one of these sites in another country. This sharing of personal data with MyJal affiliates may include combining the personal data gathered by certain MyJal Web sites with information independently gathered on other MyJal Web sites into one or more database(s) useable by MyJal, including all of its affiliates. As a part of our providing services to our customers, we may share personal data from our customers with other third parties as instructed by the customer. We may share the personal data with others solely for the purposes of managing the work we are contracted to manage and for no other reason and will abide by any contractual obligations contained in any customer agreement related to the sharing of personal data we receive from the customer.
MyJal takes reasonable steps to ensure that personal data is accurate, complete and current. All current and former employees of MyJal, applicants for specific jobs within MyJal and current and former contingent workers (including temps and other non-employees) of MyJal, as well as individuals we may potentially employ, are asked to inform MyJal immediately in the event of changes in personal data.
Security of Your Personal Data
MyJal is committed to protecting the personal data you share with us. MyJal uses reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to help protect your personal data from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. MyJal supports online security using secure server technology because we want your data to be safe. There are state-of-the-art security arrangements and facilities on MyJal work sites to maintain data security. We contractually bind our employees to comply with your privacy and confidentiality rights.
This site is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. MyJal does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under the age of 13, we will delete that data from our systems.
