Our Approach

MyJal.org is dedicated to helping  people provide themselves with clean  and safe drinking water. MyJal.org  will mentor and guide communities  towards economic sustainability. We firmly believe that economic sustainability will empower advances in all other sectors of life: infrastructural, cultural, social, and medical. Without a firm economic base,  or if the charity pulls out, the people who were being helped are left floundering. Too many lives in developing countries are lost due to the lack or contamination of clean water. Bringing clean water could eliminate disease and death. Sustainability of these projects must be achieved not through charity, but through the nation's people taking responsibility for the success of the projects and building a firm foundation for expansion of the project.

We learned very early that even ground water is contaminated. We also learned that we have to empower locals to ensure clean water is sustainable. We partner to teach local community on economic sustainability so that once we will build, the clean water is maintained by the locals.
